We ask that you please try to follow the example images!

You do not have to copy the image exactly as we allow artistic liberty/interpretation just make sure it's:

1. Recognizable

2. Not mimicking other upgrades

Unless stated otherwise upgrades start out accent colored, the base color, or any secondary colors.

"Any color on your auri" means base, accent, or secondaries.

The collar color may NOT be used to color upgrades UNLESS stated specifically otherwise.

These upgrades are special upgrades only allowed to be applied to their respective subspecies and descendants if specified!

Nectar Reserve | ★

Nutrition on the go!

Adds an outer nectar reserve to the body!
The liquid held inside holds vital nutrients and losing any is akin to losing blood. However, the casing is very strong and is not easily damaged.
Only goes along the tail, does not reach the belly!
- Except on Slither stance adults! It may go a little farther up the belly on them.
Can be smooth or segmented!
Must start out as accent color.
Available to descendants

Deformed Stinger | X

...good luck with that...

Deformation in the stinger causes it to bend in a way that makes it useless as a defense mechanism.
Considered poorly, as the individual is less apt to defend themselves from harm.

Shaped Armor | ★★

Simple shapes only (circle, triangle, heart, star, crescent, diamond, etc.)!

Very mixed views, either viewed as having been permanently shed or flat out bizarre.
Not the same as Missing Wing(s)! So there should not be any scars or stumps!
- Still does not allow Naganids to get "regular" wing upgrades!

Bombardier Tail | ★★★

Looking more dangerous!

Gives the Naga a special bug crown/horn!
May look like any real-life bug horn (see Hercules or rhinoceros beetle for example) or an AU-specific one.
Starts as the color it grows from.
Available to descendants

Trapjaw Mandibles | ★★★

All the better to CHOMP you with

RULES/NOTES ||

Extends the mandibles and gives them sharp points.
Considered an uncommon and valued trait that allows the individual to be a better and/or stronger worker.
