Subspecies Anatomy

+ MYO guide

Standard aurii aren't the only play-able species in the group, there are a total of 10 other subspecies to discover!

Each has their own unique features, upgrades, and lore.

This guide is only for the ones that have been released so far. As more are released, they will be added to the guide.

Note that this guide is intended for members who already have a general grasp of the basic anatomy of standard aurii as a lot of the species have somewhat similar proportions and rules! As such these sections may not be as detailed as the standard guide as they focus more on the subspecies' unique characteristics.
Please refer to the standard Auri Anatomy guide for general color/placement legality.

The methods of getting a subspecies are relatively the same as with standards! You can earn MYOs through events and contests, breeding for them or purchase subspecies adopts!

Naganid Anatomy Breakdown

Here's the overview of Naganid anatomy! We'll be breaking down their anatomy by bug wings, bug legs, tail & stinger, and specific coloring/gold rules.

*All MYO Nagas must start with the following upgrades: No Nose (Cannot be removed), 2 Eyes

Nagas are compatible with all optional freebie upgrades!

*These are the only extra upgrades besides any freebies that they start with on their application (without the use of upgrade items) and they MUST start with them.

  • These upgrades can be removed/changed normally in the future like any other upgrades unless otherwise specified.

  • Unlike freebie upgrades, you DO NOT need to list these when making a subspecies MYO! They are recognized as part of their base anatomy.

Bug Parts

Naganids have more than their mandibles as their bug parts! They also have bug legs and wings exclusive to their species!

Nagas start off with a special pair of small hook/mantis-like legs that grow from the torso. These legs are essentially useless in their childhood but can gain more utility when grown. They start off as accent color.

Their tails are special in that they have two small spheres (the smaller ones on the bottom) at the base of their tail and a unique, harpoon-shaped stinger tail tip. When relaxed, their tails curve upwards towards them like a scorpion. The spheres are always gold, while the stinger starts as the accent color.

Nagas can only lose their stinger through injury! Additionally, they may not have any other tail tip, even if they have more than one tail.
Any new tail would auto-come with a naga-stinger.

Naganids also have a special wing-type exclusive to them. They start off small with 3 separate wing segments. These tiny wings cannot carry an auri off the ground. When grown up they become flight-able and take on one of three forms; all of which can be found in the Growing Up guide.

The wings can be translucent or solid in color but start off as accent color.
Also note only the "arm" part of the wing can be gold, the bug wings themselves can never be gold unless the auri has the limited trait Gold Accent, or the Pure Gold Mutation.

Gold

A naganid's gold placements are a little different than most aurillion species. Instead of gold placements that are more or less seamless apart of the body, Naganids' gold juts out like armor and the already very sturdy gold is even harder to damage. This is to make up for the fact that a naganid's body is frailer than a standard auri's body, so they need little extra protection.

Naganids must have a minimum of TWO (2) armor placements and can have a MAXIMUM OF SIX (6).

Also note, that unless the naga has Pure Gold or Gold Accent they cannot gain extra gold placements through gold shifters! Normal nagas are limited to the standard armor placements only!

Munchkin Anatomy Breakdown

Munchies are compatible with all optional freebie upgrades!

Here's the overview of Munchkin anatomy! Munchkins are much, much smaller than standard aurii being just a little under half the height of an average auri. Their short stubby legs and elongated bodies can be a little difficult to pin down but that's why we have this breakdown! We'll be going over their stubby limbs, proportions, gold and briefly going over the color rules!

Limbs

Munchkins have short, chubby legs! Their legs cannot exceed about half of their body's length. Instead of paws, they start with nubby feet! Munchkins also have little wings on their elbows called Winglets!

They must be depicted as shown with the swirl in them and start as the accent color! The color and wing-type can be changed through upgrades.

Their tails are short and nubby as well, with a little swirl on them!

Gold

Unlike most Aurillion Species, Munchkins all start with Candy Gold! Normal, yellow gold doesn't come naturally to them but can be given to them via upgrades as well as any other gold-type!

A Munchkin's gold must follow the standard Candy Gold rules; that is high saturation and can be any color except red and yellow! Don't worry, if you don't like it you can change it through an upgrade later on!

Munchkins must have a minimum of ONE (1) gold placement and can have a MAXIMUM OF FOUR (4).
