COLLAR & GOLD UPGRADES
Please make sure you're familiar and aware of the rules outlined in both linked pages above!
We ask that you please try to follow the example images!
You do not have to copy the image exactly as we allow artistic liberty/interpretation just make sure it's:
1. Recognizable
2. Not mimicking other upgrades
Unless stated otherwise upgrades start out accent colored, the base color, or any secondary colors.
"Any color on your auri" means base, accent, or secondaries.

The collar color may NOT be used to color upgrades UNLESS stated specifically otherwise.
​
Remember: Gold must always have highlights and/or shading!
Baby Upgrades
The following upgrades can be applied to both babies and adults!
Accessorized Collar | ★★

Allows the addition of extra bits and bobs to the collar!

Can be arranged however you want, but should be kept reasonable.

The collar should still be recognizable/visible underneath the accessories.

Can be nearly anything as long as it's attached to the collar (ex. gems, spikes, pins, ties, bows, etc.).

Accessories can be any colors but these colors cannot be Color Shifted!
Add Collar Patterns | ★
Add some flair to your collar!

Allows the addition of 1 extra color to the collar!

Color must be a LEGAL collar color according to the MYO guide!

This color cannot be Color Shifted

Also grants free reign to the collar's markings!

Can be changed to nearly anything as long as it stays close around the neck!

This DOES NOT change the collar's color! Only the material!

Cannot be changed to any magical/elemental substance!

Collar can NEVER be shaded to look metallic.

Can add things like a bow as part of the collar. Other more separate accessories require Accessorized Collar.

Must have 4 images between changes.
Bell Shape Changer | ★★

You can either change the shape of the bell, and/or the number of throats and/or the buckle!

Shape should remain 1 simple, closed shape and CANNOT be similar to any subspecies bell.

The collar buckle should also remain simple and closely attached to the collar.

You cannot do the following:
-
Add a 3d rim to the bell
-
Make the bell flat
-
Give the bell parts that stick out (like spikes)
-
Cut holes into the bell
-
Have the bottom of the bell be open (like a church bell)
-
Have it mimic any other real world bells (bike bells, etc.)
-
Add too many extra parts to the buckle

Gold Shifter Tier 1 | ★

Allows you to do the following:

Turn certain upgrades into gold (see Gold Rules doc for specifics)

Turn existing markings (including color placements) into gold!
This means your auri MUST have the markings beforehand.-
Ex. you have Star Markings so you can make some or all of the stars gold, but you can't give them gold hearts

Add new simple-shaped gold placements (must be simple/blobby, use the base gold placements as good examples of what's legal)
-
Gold placements can never cover more than about half (>50%) of the auri!
-
MUST have a before and after image.

Pride Collar | ★

You may use any pride flag you wish! (gay, bi, trans, agender, demi ace/aro, achillean/sapphic, etc.)

Combo flags are allowed

If a flag has ornaments aside from just stripes (symbols, shapes, etc.), you may incorporate those as well, simplify them, or exclude them all together!

The colors do not have to be exact and may be slightly changed if desired!

Must resemble the flag.

You may NOT use the following flags:

Nationality flags, “straight pride” flag, joke flags (ex. rabies sexual)

Colors may not be Color Shifted.

This does not allow free reign of the collar design! It must be a pride flag!

Add more unique, intricate gold placements such as squiggles or specific shapes not covered by our marking upgrades

Merge and/or overlap gold markings to create unique shapes

Gold placements can never cover more than about half (>50%) of the auri!

CAN'T be used to override the markings rule, you still must have a marking first on your auri before shifting gold onto it.
-
Also, note that you CAN'T create specific copyrighted markings. You can try to replicate them, but they MUST be vague [EXAMPLE]

MUST have a before and after image.
