Poison
LEVEL 1
NOXIOUS GAS:
Who cut the cheese!? If you focus Poison magic near your mouth, you can exhale a foul-smelling, noxious gas that is irritating to the skin and lungs of others. It’s non-lethal and is more annoying than anything. Lastly, this ability does not affect the user but does still smell bad.
Uses of this ability include:
As a light attack
As a diversion
A nasty prank
SKILL LEVEL 1: Deadly Gas
Can only produce a cloud of noxious gas (babies can produce up to a puff of gas).
SKILL LEVEL 2: Contaminated Cloud
Can now produce enough gas to fill up one room.
SKILL LEVEL 3: Hazardous Haze
Can now produce enough gas to fill a whole house.
NUMB SENSE:
To numb a sense, you must send Poison magic to either your brain or someone else’s via touch. Then, by focusing this magic on any one of the five main senses, (sight, taste, touch, smell, hearing) you can temporarily dull that sense. Note that the user can shift freely between which of their senses is numb, but if you wanted to change someone else’s numbed sense, you’d have to make contact again.
Uses of this ability include:
A form of anesthesia
Getting auri to eat their broccoli
Numbing one’s self from pain for combat purposes
Immobilizing others by numbing their sense of sight or touch
Numbing one’s sense of hearing to ignore someone
SKILL LEVEL 1: Weakened Sense
The sense is numbed by about 50% (25% for babies).
SKILL LEVEL 2: Faint Sense
The sense is numbed by about 75%.
SKILL LEVEL 3: Senseless
The sense is fully numbed.
ACIDIC SPIT:
By concentrating Poison magic throughout the mouth, you can magically decrease the pH in your saliva. This can then be spat out like a projectile, like snake venom. This spit won’t harm the user as long as it isn’t swallowed.
Uses of this ability include:
Temporarily blind opponents
Injure opponents
Destroying metal bars
SKILL LEVEL 1: Lemon Loogie
Acid spit is irritating but not harmful.
SKILL LEVEL 2: Pungent Phlegm
Acid spit is irritating and can melt wood, painful to the skin.
SKILL LEVEL 3: Corrosive Spit
Acid spit is strong enough to corrode metal, very painful.
SECONDARY ABILITY
Toxin immunity - PASSIVE
Your work with Poison magic has built up your immunity! You’re now immune to most toxins! This means you will not die or become severely ill from the poisons you’re immune to, but you may still feel ill or otherwise sick from the exposure. Also, note that extremely powerful magical toxins and Naganid venom can still affect you.
